Play Resumes

With 59:59 remaining in the level and blinds of 400,000 and 800,000 and an ante of 100,000, players are back from dinner and cards are once again in the air.

Hand #90: John Racener

This is the last hand before the dinner break. Jonathan Duhamel has the button in Seat 4.

Action folds to Duhamel. His raise to 1.75 million folds Michael Mizrachi in the small blind. Big blind John Racener is deliberate in re-raising to 4.1 million. Duhamel folds, sending the theater to dinner.

Play will resume at 8:15pm local time.

Hand #89: John Racener

John Racener
John Racener

John Dolan has the button in Seat 3.

John Racener raises to 1.95 million to open the pot, and he finds a call from Joseph Cheong in the cutoff seat. Michael Mizrachi calls from the big blind as well, and it's three-handed to a {10-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {A-Clubs} flop. Mizrachi checks first, and Racener leads out with 2.4 million chips. Cheong calls, Grinder folds, and it's heads up the rest of the way.

The turn comes the {3-Clubs}, and Racener pauses for a bit before announcing an all in. It works; Cheong folds, and Racener takes a small step towards climb back into this thing.

Hand #85: Jason "Bonzai!" Senti

John Racener has the button in Seat 7.

Action folds to Racener. He opens for 1.75 million. Filippo Candio quickly gives up his small blind. Big blind Jason Senti is not so hasty; he calls.

The flop is {2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Senti checks to Racener, who follows up his pre-flop raise by betting 2.0 million. Senti puts in a check-raise that quickly induces a fold from Racener.
