Alexander Kostritsyn is off to s strong start on day three after recently eliminating a short-stacked opponent.
Facing a raise to 3,000 from middle position, Kostritsyn made it 8,100 to go from the cutoff. The table folded around to the original raiser who moved all in for around 25,000, with Kostritsyn insta-calling.

The board bricked out and Kostritsyn sends one to the rail to move up to 240,000.
There aren't too many notables here in the orange section, but we did spot a few recognizable faces with the likes of Marc Naalden, Juha Helppi, Evelyn Ng (woot woot!), Barny Boatman, Adam Lunglen and double bracelet winner Jesper Hougaard (yes, I am including WSOPE) all mustard keen to make it through the day.
Perhaps the most interesting clash will come on the feature table where Vanessa Rousso faces Jake Cody, a name few Americans will have heard of, but one that grew to prominence in the UK recently after a victory in last year's Deauville EPT.
Justin Pechie opened to 2,300 with the button and Paul Wasicka defended his big blind. The flop fell and Wasicka checked to Pechie who continued for 2,700. Wasicka check-raised to 7,600, Pechie moved all in for 22,700 and Wasicka called.

The smacked on the turn giving Wasicka a better flush, and after the bricked on the river, Pechie was eliminated.

A player in the small blind was folded to and raised to 3,500 with Lauren Kling calling from the big blind.
The flop came and the small blind check-called a bet of 3,700 from King. When the came on the turn, Kling's opponent check-called again, this time for 8,600.
Kling was checked to one last time on the river, which was the . She bet 21,600 and her opponent called, only to muck when Kling showed . Kling is now up to 216,000 chips.
Paul Magriel was all in with for his last 70,000 and up against Seat 1's . Things didn't look good when the flop came , giving his opponent a pair of aces.
The turn was the and Magriel seemed resigned to his fate. The river had other ideas as it came the . "I have a flush," Magriel announced. It was true and he doubled to 140,000.
Hoyt Corkins raised to 2,600 preflop and got one caller. When the flop came Corkins bet 3,200 and was called by his opponent. Both players checked the on the turn, but when Corkins bet 3,000 on the river his opponent folded.
Corkins is up to just over 129,000 after the hand.
