Seidel Busto

Down to 8,000 chips, Erik Seidel opened all in from the button. When the small blind called, Seidel opened two lives cards, {j-Spades}{3-Spades}, against the small blind's {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Nobody improved on a king-high board. Seidel's 2010 Main Event is over.

De Meulder Chips Up

Matthias De Meulder opened to 3,100 from early position and found a caller in the cutoff before the player on the button bumped it to 10,300.

De Meulder made the call as the cutoff folded before the dealer dropped a {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop. De Meulder check-called his opponent's 12,600-chip bet before both players checked the {9-Clubs} and {9-Spades} on the turn and river.

De Meulder tabled his {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} and his opponent mucked to see the Belgian collect the pot to move to 235,000 in chips.

Kostritsyn Mucks

Alexander Kostritsyn raised under the gun to 2,600 and found one call in middle position to see a flop of {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Kostritsyn checked and then called a bet of 4,100 to see the {9-Hearts} turn. Both players checked and the {4-Hearts} hit the river. Kostritsyn led out for 13,000 and his opponent made the call, but Kostritsyn mucked when showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for top pair. Kostritsyn slips to 241,000.

Semi-Snap Folded

Adam Junglen earlier in the Series
Adam Junglen earlier in the Series

Adam Junglen might be one to look out for today - a young kid oozing with confidence and talent in equal measure. In fact, he'll be even higher in spirits now after taking down a pot and increasing his stack to 195,000.

The board read {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}, and after the big blind checked, Junglen bet 4,000 into a pot 7,000. His opponent repopped it to 8,000. "How much behind?" probed Junglen. "Seventeen," came the response. Junglen made the call.

After both players had checked the {7-Clubs} turn, Junglen opted to put his opponent all in on the {9-Clubs} river. After a couple of seconds, his opponent "semi-snap folded" - as our field reporter put it - and Junglen picked up the pot.

Johnny World Makes Bottom Pair Work

John Hennigan raised to 3,500 pre-flop from late position and was called by Robert Mizrachi on the button. When the flop came all baby cards, {3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}, Hennigan made a continuation bet of 4,500. Mizrachi called, then tried a bet of 7,300 after Hennigan checked the {8-Hearts} turn. Hennigan was undeterred and called to the {j-Diamonds} river, which both players checked. Hennigan turned over {2-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a pair of deuces. That was the winner, allowing Hennigan to climb to 70,000 in chips.

Devilfish Lingo 101

David "Devilfish" Ulliott is chatting away over at Table 359. He recently min-raised from the cutoff and swiped the blinds, adding, "I'm gonna write a book called How to Walk Over the Big Blind."

The Devilfish has also taken a break from his usual Ed Hardy attire and is sporting a shirt that says the following:

Poker Lingo 101

"Sorry Man" = Not Really
"Nice Hand" = F**k You . . .
"Well Played" = Lucky Donk
"Good Game, Good Luck" = Nice Suckout, Hope You Lose
"Are You Gonna Call?" = Please Don't, I'm Weak

RaSZi Razed by Karamalikis

Lex Veldhuis didn't get off to the start he was hoping for today. He was under 40,000 when he got into it preflop with Jonathan Karamalikis. But this wasn't one of Lex's trademark crazy moves, just a standard flip.

Veldhuis: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Karamalikis: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The flop fell {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}. "Well that's not good," Lex said. Correct, sir. The {7-Spades} turn and {5-Hearts} river were also not good for RaSZi. "I assume you've got me covered?" he asked Karamalikis, and indeed he did. Veldhuis was sent to the rail, and Karamalikis accumulated his chips to move up to 98,000.

Sabat Adds a Few

Eddy Sabat opened with a raise to 2,000 from the cutoff and got one caller from the big blind. The flop came {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Sabat's opponent led for 3,500, Sabat raised to 8,800, and his opponent called.

The turn was the {K-Clubs}. This time the BB checked, Sabat bet 11,000, and his opponent called.

The river was the {10-Diamonds}. Both checked, and Sabat turned over {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens. His hand was best, as his opponent showed {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Sabat moves to 143,000.

Physioc Shuts It Down

Grayson Physioc fired two bullets against an opponent in the small blind but shut things down on the river. He tried a bet of 5,400 on an {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop and a bet of 12,400 when the turn paired the board, {8-Clubs}. The small blind called each bet. When the river came {10-Spades} the action went check, check. Physioc couldn't beat the small blind's {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, jacks and eights. As a result he's down to about 58,000 in chips.

The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and river the {K-Hearts} and Scott doubles up go 126,000.
