Hellmuth vs Bellande

Jean-Robert Bellande was on the button and raised to 2,300 after action folded to him. The small blind folded and Phil Hellmuth made the call from the big blind for 1,500 more.

Hellmuth checked in the dark and the flop came {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. Bellande bet 4,000 and Hellmuth called. The {7-Hearts} on the turn was checked by Hellmuth, allowing Bellande to bet 10,000.

"How much do you have left?" Hellmuth asked. As Bellande was counting his chips, Hellmuth said, "Alright, I'm all in." It would have cost Bellande around 34,000 to make the call, almost the same amount he had left.

Once Bellande tossed his cards in the muck, Hellmuth jibbed, "You know I love you, right? You want me to show you the nuts?"

Bellande was clearly irritated and said it didn't matter. Hellmuth then flipped over the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a straight.

"Some of us get there and some of us don't," fumed Bellande, "That is why you have eleven bracelets and I have none."

Hellmuth is up to 60,000 while Bellande drops to 35,000.
