Oh the Gall!

Zsombor Gall delivered a bad beat that we suspect Steve Karp is going to remember for quite a while. Gall opened for 8,800 from middle position pre-flop and was called by small blind Daniel Buzgon. Karp, sitting in the big blind, then re-raised all in for 33,500. Only Gall called, and he didn't table the best hand in {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Karp must have felt confident with his {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}. But a flop of {9-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Spades} gave Gall a king-high straight, and by the time the {5-Hearts} hit the turn, Karp was drawing dead.
