Berda Gets Some Help from Bell
We arrived after the hand had wound up, but were able to catch Tomer Berda scooping up a pile of chips after doubling through Hugh Bell. We were able to catch the cards on the table, and they looked a little something like this:
Berda:
Bell:
Board:
Berda's straight bested Bell's two pair, and Berda was left with twice as many chips as he started.
Not too long afterwards, Berda was seen mixing it up in a pot with David Tuthill. When we arrived, there was about 90,000 in the pot, with the flop reading . Tuthill bet 63,000 from the under the gun position and folded to Berda's re-rase to 175,000.
