Esfandiari slowly climbing

Antonio Esfandiari is over at Table 2 and is throwing his weight around a little bit, with an increased stack size to show for it.
In a recent hand he had raised from middle position and was met with a re-raise to 800 from the player in the small blind. Esfandiari asked "How much do you have left?" before making the call.
The flop came down 
and the small blind bet 800, with Esfandiari calling.

on the turn, the small blind checked-folded to Esfandiari's bet of 850.
