Limit Hold'em

We've been reporting a large number of hands between Alexander Wice and Scott Seiver. Well, we've got two more for you, so gear up.

In the first hand Wice raised from the button and Seiver called. The flop came down {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {5-Hearts} on the turn. Seiver check-called a bet from Wice and the we got to see the {5-Clubs} on the river.

Both players checked and Seiver showed {10-Spades}{5-Spades} leading Wice to muck.

On the very next hand Wice raised from the cutoff and Seiver called from the button. Seiver bet and Wice called the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop.

With the {10-Hearts} on the turn Seiver continued to bet, and Wice once again called. The river was the {7-Hearts} and Seiver opted to just check. He folded to a bet from Wice.

Eskeland Takes Pot From Wice

Action had folded to Sigurd Eskeland in the small blind and he raised with Alexander Wice calling from the big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Eskeland led out with a bet, which was called by Wice.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Eskeland chose to check, but called a bet from Wice.

After the {k-Hearts} came on the river Eskeland bet and Wice folded.

Wice Sends Sung Back Under a Million

2-7 Triple Draw

Alexander Wice continued to mix it up in 2-7 Triple Draw, this time raising before Steve Sung re-raised. Wice made a fourth bet and Sung called.

Each player took a single card on the first draw and checked through the next round of betting. They each took one card on the second draw with Wice betting and Sung calling.

Wice stood pat for the final draw and Sung tool one card. There were no bets made on the final round of betting.

Wice showed {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Sung mucked. The hand put Wice up to 600,000 while Sung is down to 977,000.

Seiver and Rheem Make Last-Longer Bet

Chino Rheem has showed up at the rail and immediately got into some side betting with Scott Seiver. The two made a last-longer bet in which Rheem is betting on Steve Sung to outlast Seiver in the tournament.

Not fair you say? Sung has a million chips and Seiver has just 400,000, so to make things fair, Rheem has put up his $3,000 to Seiver's $1,000.

2-7 Triple Draw

We had a flurry of first round betting started by Nikolai Yakovenko who raised under the gun. He was re-raised by Steve Sung, who was then four-bet by Jared Jaffee. Yakovenko and Sung each made the call.

Yakovenko and Sung each drew one card on the first draw with Jaffee taking two. Yakovenko bet, Sung called and Jaffee raised. Yakovenko then three-bet. That led Sung to get out of the way, but Jaffee called, putting himself all in.

Yakovenko stood pat while Jaffee drew one card with his tournament life on the line. He took another card on the final draw while Yakovenko continuted to stand pat.

When cards were tabled Yakovenko showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} while Jaffee showed {6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}{10-} and was eliminated.

Seiver and Wice Continue to Tangle

Alexander Wice was on the button when he raised with Scott Seiver calling from the big blind. Wice drew three cards while Seiver drew 2. Seiver then check-called a bet from Wice.

For the second draw, Seiver took two cards and Wice took just one. Seiver check-called another bet.

Wice stood pat on the final draw while Seiver took one card. Both players checked, but Seiver mucked upon seeing Wice's {2-}{5-}{6-}{7-}{8-}.

Seiver is now down to 400,000 while Wice is up to 415,000.

Kirill Rabtsov was sitting upon the short stack when he three-bet a raise from Scott Seiver. After Seiver made the call each player drew one card.

Seiver led out with a bet after the first draw and called a raise from Rabtsov. Seiver then stood pat while Rabtsov drew a single card.

Rabtsov was all in after calling a bet from Seiver after the second draw. Seiver stood pat and Rabtsov drew a final single card before showdown.

Rabtsov: {2-}{4-}{6-}{7-}{4-}

Rabtsov ended up with a pair of fours and was unable to best Seiver, who arranged his collection of 540,000 chips as Rabtsov headed to the cage to collect his winnings.

Nikolai Yakovenko raised from the hijack seat to 23,000. Steve Sung reraised from the small blind to 79,000. Yakovenko called.

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn brought the {Q-Diamonds} and Sung fired 144,000. Yakovenko called.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and both players checked.

Sung tabled the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and Yakovenko mucked his hand. He is now down to about 350,000 in chips while Sung increase to well over one million.
