No-Limit Hold'em
Alexander Kravchenko was nursing a small stack when he was facing a raise to 16,000 made by Steve Sung under the gun. Kravchenko, who was in the big blind, shoved for 86,000 and was called by Sung.
Kravchenko:
Sung:
Kravchenko was ahead preflop but he wasn't to stay ahead for long. The flop came , pairing Sung's hand and leaving Kravchenko in need of improvement. The turn gave Kravchenko some outs, coming but the river added insult to injury as the fell.
With Kravchenko's chips joining his own, Sung isnow up to 327,000.
There was some unrest at the tables after players were informed that the structure for No-Limit Hold'em was 3,000/6,000 with a 3,000 ante. It was clearly a typo in the structure sheet as level 22 has antes at 2,000. Antes for this level should be 1,500, which is how they will play from here on out.
There was some debate over what to do with players at Table 336 who have already played five hands with the ridiculously high ante. Tournament organizers decided against making Table 331 do the same thing as well as against giving players at Table 336 a refund on the antes they paid.
No-Limit Hold'em
Alexander Kravchenko kicked the hand off by raising to 20,000 from under the gun. Alexander Wice was in the big blind when action folded to him, and he went all in for 90,000 total with Kravchenko making the call.
Wice:
Kravchenko:
Wice likely hated the flop which paied Kravchenko, coming . However, all was made better (at least for Wice) with the on the turn. The came on the river for good measure.
After the hand was concluded, Wice found himself with 190,000 chips while Kravchenko is down to 95,000.
Stud 8/b
Jose Barbero recently became our 12th place finisher. We missed the action but do know that he was eliminated by chip leader Nikolai Yakovenko.

Todd Brunson recently found himself with 300,000 chips after beating Stephen Su in a big stud pot. We caught up with action on fifth street where Brunson called a bet from Su, something he would do again on sixth street. Su checked the river before calling a bet from Brunson.
Brunson showed a full house and Su mucked, losing some of the chips he just won from busting Jesse Martin.
