Carlos Mortensen attempted to put his big stack to work but came off second best against John Racener in a recent Omaha-8 hand.
Racener opened with a raise from the cutoff position with Mortensen making the call in the small blind. They took a flop of 
and Mortensen check-called the bet from Racener. Again the action was check-bet-call on the 
turn before Mortensen decided to lead out on the 
river. Racener responded by raising it up and Mortensen made the call.
Racener opened 
for the wheel to scoop. He's up to 275,000 with Mortensen drifting back to the pack with 460,000.
