Hachem Hacked, Adams Growing

So long, Joe
So long, Joe

Stud-8

Joe Hachem got his last chips in the middle in a giant stud pot, and it didn't end so well for the beloved Aussie.

Joe Hachem: (X-X) / {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades} / (X)
Konstantin Puchkov: (X-X) / {2-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} / (X)
Brandon Adams: (X-X) / {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / (X)

Hachem started the action with a bet on fourth street, when we picked up the hand, and Adams raised. Puchkov called all in, and Hachem flatted the extra bet. On fifth, Joe check-called, but he went back to betting on sixth. Adams called, and on seventh, Hachem moved all in for his last 2,500. Adams called with {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for aces up and an eight-six low. Hachem turned over {5-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, and couldn't beat anything. He stood up to leave, shaking everybody's hand.

And then the table remembered that Puchkov was all in too. He squeezed his hand out slowly, finally showing {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}. "Two outs...got it!" Puchkov said. He took half of the main pot with his set of deuces, staying alive with 35,000. Dragging the rest of the giant pot, Brandon Adams is up to 255,000. "The Brandon Adams show everyone," deadpanned tablemate Todd Brunson.
