Krueger Can't Hit the River

Quentin Krueger opened the last pot of his tournament for 6,000 from early position. Action passed to Ben Lamb, who raised pot to 21,000. Krueger decided to go with {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and called all in. Lamb opened {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Clubs} and flopped great, {j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. But the turn {8-Diamonds} was a very dangerous card for Lamb and a hopeful one for Krueger -- it gave Krueger a nut-nut draw. That draw failed to materialize when the river paired kings, {k-Spades}.

Krueger will leave with a minimum cash of $2,847.
