Chen Building Steam and a Stack

Hold'em

Bill Chen has propelled himself to 1.2 million in chips on the backs of aces. He raised the cutoff pre-flop and was called by big blind John Juanda. Juanda check-called a bet on a flop of {4-Spades} {8-Hearts} {4-Clubs}, then led into Chen when the turn came {j-Spades}. Chen called to the river {3-Hearts}, where Juanda fired again. Chen executed a raise, inducing Juanda to make a crying call with the worst hand. Chen turned up {a-Clubs} {a-Spades} for two pair, aces and fours, to drag the pot.

Juanda is down to about 410,000.
