Esfandiari Needs a Rabbit and a Hat

Antonio Esfandiari raised to 15,000 before the flop, and Brian Rast called to see a flop.

It came out {9-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {6-Spades}, and Esfandiari continued out with a bet of 26,000. Rast raised to 75,000 straight, and Esfandiari moved all in over the top. Rast made the call for his own tournament life, and the cards were on their backs:

Rast: {K-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}
Esfandiari: {Q-Spades} {J-Spades}

Esfandiari was drawing, and Rast was looking to hold his top pair to double up. The turn {3-Diamonds} kept him safe, and so did the {A-Diamonds} river, and he does indeed double up. That pushes Rast all the way up to 466,000, leaving Esfandiari just 14,000 with which to try and mount a monumental comeback.
