Nguyen won a bracelet two weeks ago in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship, earning just under $400,000 for his seventh career bracelet. He'd love to be the first double bracelet winner of the series. A win would also put him in first place in the WSOP Player of the Year race. With a runner-up finish, he'd make it a three-way tie between himself, Michael Mizrachi, and James Dempsey.
