Lederer, Lawson Busto

George "Tiny" Danzer started the day seventh in chips. He has even more chips now after eliminating Howard Lederer. Lederer's {a-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} was no match for Danzer's {a-} {2-} {8-} {q-} on a board of {a-Spades} {j-Diamonds} {j-Hearts} {j-Clubs} {3-Hearts}. Each player had three jacks, but Danzer's ace-queen was superior to Lederer's ace-six.

On a different table, Michael Jarmark hit a fortuitous river to claim both halves of the pot and knock out Ted Lawson. Lawson was all in on a flop of {8-Diamonds} {k-Spades} {7-Diamonds}, tabling a pair of eights and a low draw, {a-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {5-Spades}. Jarmark showed down a better low but not much of a high draw, {a-Hearts} {q-Spades} {5-Hearts} {2-Clubs}. The turn {3-Diamonds} made Jarmark's low; the river {q-Diamonds} give him a pair of a queens and the best hand for high. Jarmark's up to 105,000 while Lawson is out.
