Bellande Calls it Like He Sees It

There was just a bit of a disruption at Table 303 right near us, involving none other than Jean-Robert Bellande. We don't have all of the details, but it centered around an older gentleman who was either shooting an angle or was a bit late on noticing the blind increase. Something happened with his entry into the pot where he announced a reraise but didn't put enough chips out in front of him. Bellande went off.

"I see what you're doing. You're angling. You were going to raise, and then he raised under the gun and you tried to make it a call. Don't think you can fool me, I've seen your type before."

From the next seat over, Al Barbieri shot us a sideways glance and a smirking shrug. When Bellande's banter continued for another several minutes, Barbieri did the same move again, almost finding comic relief at Bellande's spectacle, but mostly just embarrassment.

Bellande continued to call the "angle shooter" a variety of names. "Get Russ Hamilton out here. Bring the whole family. You're shady. Everyone should know you're shady, I've seen your type before. Angle shooter. I know what you're doing." By now, Bellande was kneeling on his chair and leaning over the rail to get some leverage for his arguing posture.

It finally drew the attention of an adjacent table and another gentleman stood up to complain.

"Hey, get a floor over! He's making too much noise. I'm trying to fall asleep here."
