We've got two more levels to push through tonight, and we'll do it without the services of the green T25 chips. Those have been raced off and colored up, and we'll have to manage without them from here on out.
Vitaly Lunkin made it two bets from the button, and got called by the player in the big blind. The flop was , and the player in the big blind check-raised Lunkin's flop bet.
The turn was the and the player in the big blind bet, eliciting a call from Lunkin.
The river was the , and the big blind bet again, Lunkin raised, and the big blind made the call. Lunkin revealed pocket aces, that were indeed cracked by the of his opponent.
Lunkin is now on about 15,000.
David Plastik raised first-in from the small blind, and a female player made the quick call from the big.
Heads up, the flop came out , and Plastik's follow-up bet was called again. His opponent called bets again on the turn and the river, although the last call was awfully reluctant, and it was accompanied by a noise like, "Grrrrrrrugh". She mucked when Plastik tabled , and that pot moves him up to about 35,000.
We caught up to the action with three bets in the pot preflop, and the board reading . The big blind checked, and then raised the bet from Alexandre Gomes. Gomes made the call, and the players saw the hit the turn.
The big blind checked again, and Gomes bet, however this time the player in the big blind just called.
The river was the and both players checked. Gomes showed the , which was bad news for the pocket fours of his opponent. Gomes is up to 30,000.
The pot was three-bet before the flop, and we walked up just as the dealer was putting out a flop of . The big blind fired out a bet, and Maya Geller called in position.
That action repeated on the turn and on the river with Geller calling big bets on both streets. The button showed up pocket queens, and Geller's was the winning hand, her pair of aces earning her a chip boost up to 23,000.
Shannon Shorr got himself all in on the turn of a board showing . JC Tran held , and he was more than happy to get the chips in after turning top pair, much to the chagrin of Shorr.
No help on the river meant the end of Shorr's day, and JC Tran now appears to be the big stack with 55,000 chips in front of him.
