Kostritsyn Crushing

Alexander Kostritsyn

Pot Limit Omaha:

Russian superstar Alexander Kostritsyn is running away with the chip lead here in the $50,000 Poker Player's Championship while Scott Seiver is left hanging on for dear life. Seiver lost a chunk of change in a recent Pot Limit Omaha hand.

Eugene Katchalov opened the action with a raise to 15,000 from the cutoff before Seiver made it 51,000 to go from the button. The action was then with Kostritsyn in the big blind and he declared another raise, making it 168,000 to play. Katchalov got out of the way as Seiver made the call.

The flop landed {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Seiver checked to Kostritsyn who announced "pot" - effectively enough to put Seiver to a decision for the last of his 100,000 chips. Seiver decided against it, as Kostritsyn powers his way to 1.15 million in chips.
