Thuritz Triple Barrels Baker

Pot Limit Omaha

In a limped pot, three players took a flop of {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Mikael Thuritz came out swinging with a bet of 45,000 from the small blind. David Baker called in the big blind as Michael Mizrachi folded.

The turn brought the {K-Hearts} and Thuritz fired again for 138,000. Baker again made the call. On the {7-Hearts} river, Thuritz released a third barrel worth a hefty 400,000. It was too much for Baker who tossed away his cards.

Thuritz moves to 1.62 million with Baker down to 750,000.

Pot-Limit Omaha

John Juanda opened for 43,000, Vladimir Schmelev called and Ilya Bulychev re-potted all-in for an additional 132,000. Juanda folded and Schmelev called.

Bulychev {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Schmelev {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Bulychev made two pair on the {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Spades} board and doubled up to 400,000.

"I knew a Russian would win that pot," Robert Mizrachi quipped as Bulychev stacked up his chips.

Nick Schulman limped in from UTG, Lyle Berman limped behind him, Michael Mizrachi completed the small blind and Abe Mosseri checked his option. The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. The blinds checked to Schulman, who bet 55,000. Berman raised to 205,000, Mizrachi and Mosseri folded, and Schulman called. The turn was the {2-Spades} and Schulman checked. Berman made a 450,000 bet that send Schulman into the tank for a full five minutes before he mucked.

Berman flashed {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a wheel and a flush re-drawn as he raked in the pot. He's up to 980,000 while Schulman is down to 925,000.

Who Needs Three Draws?

2-7 Triple Draw

Michael Mizrachi opened with a raise before Abe Mosseri put in a re-raise. Play folded back to Mizrachi who popped it up one more time and Mosseri made the call.

On the first draw it was one for Mizrachi and two for Mosseri. Mizrachi fired out a bet and Mosseri called. Mizrachi rapped pat as Mosseri took one. Again the action was bet, call. The third and final draw wasn't required as both players opted to stand pat. Mizrachi fired one more bet and Mosseri made the call.

Mizrachi: {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}
Mosseri: {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-}

Mizrachi took it down, just, with his 8-7-5, to climb to 1.4 million. Mosseri is back to 900,000.

Multi-Way Triple Draw

2-7 Triple Draw

Robert Mizrachi came in raising with Daniel Alaei and John Juanda making the call. Each player drew two as Mizrachi fired another bet. Alaei and Juanda made the call.
