More Matusow Chatter
"You know what? I've got jobs lined up in the casino for everyone if Tom wins. Seriously, I've talked to people here. Everyone gets a job!" Mike Matusow shouted across the room.
The number one topic of conversation here is still the massive bracelet bets a slew of high-stakes pros have made against Tom Dwan. Two tables away from Matusow, Jean-Robert Bellande piped up that should Dwan win, Huck Seed would be out $350,000 after betting against him at 3.5-1 odds. Matusow is in for $57,000 at 3.2-1 odds and many of the "Big Game" players also have bets in at 3.2-1.
Matusow and Bellande then began jawing back and forth about another WSOP wager they made back at the PokerStars Carribean Adventure. Bellande alleged that Matusow put up 30,000 to his 10,000 on two bets-- a bracelet bet, and one over who would rack up the most tournament earnings at the WSOP.
"I figured you woudn't be in action when I made that bet. How you doing in cash?" Matusow asked.
"Up $4,200."
"I'm up a big f**kin' zero. Wait, how are you in this tournament for $10,000?"
"My backer doesn't know how bad I'm doing."
Matusow then began to argue. "I wouldn't lay 3-1 on most amount cashed. Maybe most cashes, but not most amount cashed. That I know for sure. Do you have it in your phone?"
"Everyone saw it. Justin was there, he laid 3 to 1 too."
"I did not lay 3 to 1" Smith said from the table behind Matusow.
"It's tough not to lay 3-1 against a guy you know will never win one!" Matusow cackled.
