Zackey No Longer Top Dog

We're not sure what the preflop action was in a hand between Ian Tavelli and Warren Zackey. What we do know is that on a flop of {7-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {8-Clubs}, Tavelli managed to get his last 950,000 in the middle. Zackey, the chip leader at the time with more than 5 million chips, had chips to burn and called with an overpair and gutshot draw, {10-Diamonds} {10-Spades}. Tavelli also had an overpair -- the biggest overpair, {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds}. Tavelli's aces held up when the turn paired sixes, {6-Spades} and the river blanked {Q-Spades}.

With that loss, Zackey fell out of the number one chip spot. He now has 3.95 million chips. Tavelli is up to 2.4 million.
