Strangeness Abounds

A gentleman raised under the gun, only for the gent to his immediate left to reraise hard -- to about 10,000, with 20,000 behind. Adam Latimer, who had been sitting to the immediate left of the reraiser, scurried over to tell me that this raising war had somewhat freaked him out, and he'd folded
suited. Back to the original raiser, and he four-bet to cover the reraiser. A long dwell, during which time Latimer opined quietly that the original raiser was unlikely to have anything if how he'd been playing all day was anything to go by -- and then the reraiser unexpectedly folded. Very odd indeed.
