Chips for Childs

In the last hand of the level, Lee Childs opened with a raise to 1,500 from the hijack seat, and Ken Aldridge called from the button. The flop came {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Childs checked, Aldridge bet 1,400, and Childs called. Both checked the {5-Spades} on the turn.

The river brought the {9-Hearts}, and Childs spent some time stacking his relatively short stack, obviously contemplating whether or not to put it all in. Finally he checked, and Aldridge checked behind. Childs turned over {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}, and exhaled when he saw Aldridge's {J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Childs is at 18,000 now, while Aldridge is sitting much more comfortably with 90,000.
