Elezra Trying to Pick a Fight

Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra
Kili Madrid raised before the flop, and an unknown player and Eli Elezra made the call from the blinds. Three handed then, the flop came out {A-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}, and the action checked around.

The turn card came the {2-Hearts}. After a check from the small blind, Elezra took a 4,000-chip stab at the pot. Madrid quickly called, and the small blind ducked out with the same speed.

On the river, the {8-Hearts} drew a check from Elezra. Madrid flicked a single orange chip worth 5,000 into the pot, and Elezra raised his eyebrows with a sly glance across the felt. After some more debate from his opponent, Madrid stood from his chair and slid his cards over near the muck with his hand still covering them. After another moment, Elezra shot out of his chair and tried to grab the cards, pushing Madrid's hand toward the dead pile of cards. Everyone got a good chuckle out of Elezra trying to kill Madrid's hand, and he instead killed his own, returning his cards to the dealer and sending the pot over to the former boxer with the big biceps.
