Hanson Takes a Power Nap and Folds

Hold'em

David Bach raised the button and John Hanson called in the big blind.

The flop was {3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and Hanson checked to Bach, who fired a bet. Hanson then check-raised, but Bach wasn't fazed as he put in another raise. Hanson made the call.

The turn brought an innocent looking {2-Hearts} and both players checked.

The river was the {Q-Clubs} and Hanson checked to Bach, who thought for a moment before committing a bet. Hanson tanked for a long time. Many of us thought he'd fallen asleep and wondered whether we should prod him with a stick. In the end, he folded and Bach won a nice pot.

When You Gotta Go...

Fifteen minutes after we just took a scheduled break, David Bach has decided he needs a bathroom break. Might have been a good idea to go twenty minutes ago, but hey, what's a few more minutes at this time of the morning?

A Few More Stats...

A quick count of the number of hands played so far today sees the current count at 366 hands following the last break.

To put that into perspective compared to some other famous final tables...

2007 50k H.O.R.S.E. - 341 hands
2008 50k H.O.R.S.E. - 314 hands
2008 WSOPE Main Event - 484 hands

Bach Fills Up Before Break

Omaha-8

David Bach raised it up from the button and John Hanson made the call in the big blind.

The flop fell {10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Hanson checked, Bach bet, Hanson check-raised and Bach called.

The {Q-Clubs} on the turn was checked through before the {9-Hearts} hit the river. Hanson checked, Bach bet and Hanson called.

Bach showed {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a full house to take it down.
