Iacovone thought he hit paydirt with his full house on the turn. Unfortunately for him, Spalding had the unbeatable quads, earning the young man a huge double up to 1,150,000. Iacovone had enough chips to survive that big hit, still sitting with 615,000.
The board ran sour though, coming to give Jacob the knockout. He's up to 900,000 now, and the two pros are really pushing for that chip lead here in the early stages of the final day.
As we walk back to his table, he's now over 1.1 million, once again near the top of the leader board.
First in from the small blind, Cantu opened with a raise to 45,000. Next door, chip leader Michele Iacovone reraised to 125,000. Cantu moved in and Iacovone instantly called.
