Mosseri: (X-X) {A-Hearts} {K-Spades} {10-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} (X)

Mike Wattel Doubles Through Yan Chen

Jacks are good
Jacks are good
Mike Wattel (X)(X) {2-?} {3-Hearts} {2-?} {4-Spades} (X)
Yan Chen (X)(X) {6-?} {A-Spades} {9-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} (X)
Justin Smith (X)(X) {8-Spades}

A raising war broke out on third street, Justin Smith making it two bets, Mike Wattel making it three to go and Yan Chen four-betting. Smith tanked for a moment before folding, Wattel reraised all in and Chen called.

Wattel had jacks in the hole to Chen's queens in the hole and made jacks up on fifth street. Though Chen had a number of outs to a better two pair, he missed, while Wattel caught a third jack on seventh to make a full house and double up.

Wattel Stays Alive

Chen: (X-X) {K-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {J-Spades} (X)
Mosseri: (X-X) {A-Hearts} {9-Spades} {5-Spades} {8-Spades} (X)
Wattel: (X-X) {7-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {4-Clubs} (X)

Mike Wattel completed, Yan Chen then raised, and Abe Mosseri reraised. Wattel called all in and Chen called as well. Fourth street was checked, but on the remaining streets, Mosseri bet each time. Chen called each time.

The side pot was first and Mosseri showed {A-?} {6-?} {4-?}, for a pair of aces and a low. Chen showed two pair, kings and jacks to take the high part of that pot.

In the main, Wattel showed {A-?} {7-?} {5-?} for a low. Chen took the high half of this pot as well, but Wattel did stay alive because he took the low.

Pros on the Rail

Mike Matusow is in the house, as is Cyndy Violette, who is sweating her good friend Mike Wattel. T.J. Cloutier also just wandered into the final table area to check on Doyle Brunson's progress.

Lisandro and Chen Chop Up Rouhani

Yan Chen (X)(X){2-Hearts} {2-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} (X)
Farzad Rouhani (X)(X){8-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {4-Spades} (X)
Jeff Lisandro (X)(X) {5-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {A-Spades} {9-Diamonds} (X)

Yan Chen brought it in, Farzad Rouhani completed, Jeff Lisandro called and Chen called. All three players checked it down on fourth, fifth, and sixth streets. On seventh, Chen and Rouhani check-called a bet from Lisandro.

Chen showed {2-?} {J-?} {10-?} for trip deuces and won the high while Lisandro took the low with 7-5-3-2-A.

Mariani Gets a Few Back

Yan Chen (X)(X){2-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {5-Hearts} (X)
Frank Mariani (X)(X) {J-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {9-Spades} {9-Clubs} (X)
Abe Mosseri (X)(X) {10-Spades} {6-Clubs}

Jeff Lisandro brought it in with the {2-Clubs}, Yan Chen completed, both Frank Mariani and Abe Mosseri called and Lisandro folded. Mariani led out on fourth street, Chen called and Mosseri folded. Chen hit an ace on fifth and bet, Mariani making the call. Mariani made an open pair of nines on sixth and check-called Chen's bet. Mariani then checked dark on the river, Chen bet and he made the call.

Mariani turned over a flush for high, Chen made his low and they split the pot.
