Phil Tom Eliminated in 16th Place ($27,824)

Phil Tom - 16th Place
Phil Tom - 16th Place
Michiel Brummelhuis raised in the hijack and Mark Klecan three-bet the cutoff. Perennial shortie Phil Tom four-bet from the big blind leaving himself just 10,000 behind; he received two callers.

Come the {5-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} flop Tom open-shoved for his last 10,000 and both his opponents called. Brummelhuis bet out on the {J-Spades} turn, and now Klecan passed.

"I got you," said Brummelhuis, and indeed he did -- his pocket {7-Clubs} {7-Hearts} for a flopped full house left Tom and his pocket {10-Spades} {10-Hearts} drawing thin -- and the {7-Spades} that landed on the river was not what Tom was looking for. Out he goes in 16th place.
