Maria Ho Eliminated in 11th Place ($41,040)

Ho down
Ho down
Maria Ho and Kenny Hsiung saw a {4-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} flop. Ho checked it, and then raised to the bet from Hsiung. Call.

Ho bet out on the {8-Clubs} turn, leaving herself just pocket change behind. Again, a call.

Come the {6-Hearts} river there was no getting away from it. Ho stuck her last few chips in, Hsiung called, they flipped the cards and Ho stood up and left without so much as a goodbye.

Ho: {9-Clubs} {10-Spades}
Hsiung: {K-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}

The Comeback Kid

Soheil Shamseddin has picked up another hefty pot from Kenny Hsiung -- he's made a remarkable comeback to put him up to 640,000, while Hsiung is down to 700,000.

Hyper-Aggression Starting To Get Expensive

Maria Ho check-raised the flop, and then decided to get in another check-raise on the turn before firing again on the river on a board of {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}.

Her opponent was Pat Pezzin who made the call.

"I'm not bluffing, I have a jack and I thought I could get him off it" defended Ho, as Pezzin took down the pot with his {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

Pezzin is up to 400,000 with Ho down to 190,000.

He Knew It Was Coming?

One table is certainly emerging as the action table. On that table, Pat Pezzin raised the button before Kenny Hsiung three-bet from the small blind. Soheil Shamseddin then four-bet from the big blind with Pezzin folding and Hsiung calling.

The flop was {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Hsiung checked to Shamseddin who bet. Hsiung made the call.

The turn brought the {J-Diamonds} and this time Hsiung led out with a bet. Shamseddin quickly raised and Hsiung called.

The river landed the {Q-Diamonds} and Hsiung checked, Shamseddin bet again and Hsiung made a crying call. Shamseddin tabled {A-Spades}{5-Hearts} for a flopped two pair to take it down.

"It's almost like you knew it was coming!" quipped Pezzin as Shamseddin has recovered nicely to now sit with 440,000 chips.

Shamseddin Fights Back

Kenny Hsiung raised under the gun and Soheil Shamseddin reraised with 70,000 behind. After giving it some thought, Hsiung flatted and they saw a flop.

Flop: {Q-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}

Hsiung bet out and this time it was Shamseddin's turn to just call.

Turn: {J-Diamonds} Hsiung bet out again, and finally Shamseddin got the last of his chips in with a raise. Call, and it was an easy double up for Shamseddin, who celebrated with a little fist pump.

Hsiung: {5-Spades} {5-Hearts}
Shamseddin: {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}

River: a harmless {6-Spades}

Shamseddin is now back up to a more respectable 250,000.

Klecan Catches a Glantz in Passing

Over on the other table, Mark Klecan raised his button and Matt Glantz called in the big blind.

Both players checked the {6-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {2-Spades} flop and Glantz checked the {4-Hearts} turn too -- but raised when Klecan bet. Call.

Glantz bet out on the {9-Clubs} river and Klecan decided it was worth a call -- but Glantz turned over the {J-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} for trips and Klecan mucked his hand.
