Leandri Steps on Gas, Runs Into Tran's Flush

J.C. Tran called from the small blind, Jean-Phillipe Leandri made it an additional 48,000 to go from the big blind and Tran called.

The flop was {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}. Tran checked to Leandri, who bet 75,000. Tran tossed in a call. The turn came the {J-Hearts} putting a flush possibility on the board. Tran checked and Leandri bet 200,000. Tran made the call and checked dark before the {6-Diamonds} arrived on the river. Leandri checked behind.

Tran showed {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} {9-Spades} {4-Hearts} for the second nut flush and took down the pot.

Tran Takes a Small Pot

It really wasn't even a battle of the blinds after Ross Boatman limped from the small and J.C. Tran checked his option.

Both players checked the flop and turn which cam {2-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, and Tran finally bet 25,000 on the river which brought the {J-Hearts}. Boatman called and Tran showed {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} to take the pot.

Check, Check, Bet, Win

Jean-Phillipe Leandri made it 60,000 to go, Jeff Kimber called from the button, and both blinds folded.

The flop came down {10-Clubs} {4-Spades} {3-Clubs} and both players checked. The turn was the {K-Hearts} and they checked again. The river fell the {A-Diamonds} and Leandri checked a third time. Kimber began to put out a bet and Leandri insta-mucked, Kimber dragging the pot.

Boatman Sinks Kimber

Ross Boatman made it 70,000 to go from the cutoff and Jeff Kimber called from the big blind.

Both players checked the flop of {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Boatman led out for 80,000 after Kimber checked the {5-Spades} on the turn. Kimber mucked, and Boatman took the chips.

Tran Chops Away at Boatman

Ross Boatman completed the small blind and J.C. Tran checked hs option from the big. The flop came down {Q-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} . Boatman led out with a pot-sized bet, Tran re-potted to 196,000 total, Boatman released his hand and Tran picked up the pot.

Rami Boukai Eliminated in 6th Place ($38,407)

Rami Boukai
Rami Boukai
In our biggest hand of the day so far, J.C. Tran raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Jean-Phillippe Leandri bet the pot, raising to 216,000 from the button. Rami Boukai called all in for less, and Tran also called.

Tran checked the flop of {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Leandri moved all in. Tran called and we saw the hands.

Boukai: {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Leandri: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Tran: {K-Spades}{9-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Spades}

Boukai was drawing dead and Tran needed a non-club 10 to make his straight. It didn't come as the board finished with the {A-Spades} and {K-Diamonds}, tripling Leandri's chip stack and sending Bouki home in sixth place.
