Match 3 - Hand #145: John Duthie

Leo Wolpert has the button.

He makes it 200,000 straight. After a little thinking, Duthie calls.

The flop is {Q-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}, and Duthie slowly checks. Wolpert checks behind. Fourth street is the {2-Hearts}, and the action repeats with a check-check. The river is the {2-Diamonds}, and they check it down.

"Ace high," says Wolpert, but Duthie shows down the winning {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

Match 3 - Hand #153: John Duthie

Leo Wolpert has the button.

He puts out the requisite 200,000-chip raise, and Duthie comes along to the flop.

It brings {J-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {10-Spades} and another check from Duthie. No checking for Wolpert though; he continues to apply pressure with a bet of 280,000. Duthie cuts out the calling chips from his stack and eyes up his remaining towers. After a minute, he grabs reraising chips and makes it 880,000 total. Wolpert lets it go, and Duthie is starting to find success playing back at his opponent.
