Schwartz Takes Chips from Bonomo

Noah Schwartz

Lex Veldhuis started things by opening for 95,000 from middle position. Bonomo called the raise from late position, and Schwartz also called from the big blind.

The flop came {K-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{3-Spades}. Schwartz checked, Veldhuis bet 175,000, and Bonomo called. Schwartz then raised to 650,000. Veldhuis folded, then Bonomo pushed his big stack all in. Schwartz made the call, committing the last of his chips.

Schwartz {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Bonomo {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Schwartz was in good shape with his set of treys. The turn was the {5-Spades} and river the {5-Hearts}, and Schwartz is now close to the 3 million-chip mark. Bonomo, meanwhile, slips back to 2.7 million.
