Moore No More, Lehr Jets Ahead

Keith Lehr Looking Good
Keith Lehr Looking Good
Chris Moore and Keith Lehr each had a little over 500,000 when the following hand took place.

Action folded to Moore who raised to 41,000 on the button, then Lehr raised to 124,000 from the big blind. Moore made the call. The flop came {2-Spades}{K-Hearts}{10-Spades}, Lehr bet 88,000, and Moore called. The turn was the {7-Spades}, and Lehr announced he was all in. Moore thought a short while, then made the call.

Lehr turned over {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}, while Moore had {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for just a pair of tens. The river was the {9-Diamonds}, and Lehr claimed the huge pot. Moore, meanwhile, had fallen to 20,000, and on the next hand was eliminated in 40th place.

"You must look really stupid," said Matt Glantz to Lehr afterwards. Looks pretty good at the moment, too, with that stack of 1.08 million in front of him.
