Lehr Silences the Mouth

Matusow makes his exit
Matusow makes his exit
Mike Matusow just walked away from the tables and spat a single F-bomb. That was a pretty good one-word sumamry of what happened on the river on the hand that spelled his elimination.

With the action folded to him in the small blind, Matusow made it 25,000 to go. Keith Lehr, in the big blind, slid out a tall stack of green 25,000-denomination chips, setting Matusow all in. He made the call.

It was {7-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} for Matusow vs. {A-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} for Lehr. The flop was a safe-looking {Q-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {4-Hearts}. The {K-Diamonds} on the turn gave Lehr a gutshot straight draw, but the {A-Spades} that spiked on the river made him top pair, eliminating Matusow. Hence, the F-bomb.

Lehr is currently up to 600,000 in chips,
