Joe Hachem Busts, Play Ends for Night

End of the night for Hachem
End of the night for Hachem
Joe Hachem had dwindled under 3,000 in chips to become the severe short stack among the remaining players, and exited in 11th place to bring the action to a halt for the night.

In his final hand, Hachem raised all but a single green 25 chip preflop, with Doyle Brunson calling. Hachem caught a piece of the {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{K-Clubs} flop with his {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, and tossed his chip in as a formality. Brunson, though, had caught a piece of the flop as well with his {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Brunson's kings held up as the turn and river brought the {4-Hearts} and {6-Clubs}.

The remaining players are busy bagging up their chips -- official end-of-night counts to follow.
