Allen Kennedy Eliminated in 50th Place ($135,100)

Allen Kennedy - 50th Place
Clint Schafer raised to 110,000 from early position. Allen Kennedy called from late position, as did Jason Riesenberg from the big blind.

The three players saw a flop of {J-Spades} {J-Hearts} {6-Hearts}. Riesenberg checked and Schafer bet 160,000. Kennedy moved all in for 830,000 and Riesenberg quickly folded. Schafer thought for about 30 seconds before finally making the call. The players showed:

Kennedy: {8-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}
Schafer: {K-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}

The turn fell the {5-Diamonds}, which was no help to Kennedy. He needed to catch one of two remaining eights to stay alive. The river came the {4-Diamonds}, sealing his fate. Schafer won the pot and Kennedy was eliminated in 50th place. Along with a story about how he sat next to Phil Hellmuth at a televised feature table, he'll also take home $135,100.
