The Amazon Room or the Frozen Tundra?

A Chilly Change100
A Chilly Change100
There are just 50 players left in the Main Event and all the action is concentrated around a handful of tables by the Milwaukee's Best Light lounge. The rest of this cavernous room is empty, almost eerily so--though being able to walk in a straight line from one end of the room to the other without having to navigate a maze of tables, rails, players and spectators is oddly liberating.

There's something else you immediately notice now that the room is cleared out: it's cold in here. Not chilly--COLD. Earlier in the Series all that body heat and nervous energy radiating through the room kept things relatively comfortable. Now it's empty, the air conditioning is blasting away hard enough to create a wind chill factor and, if you take a look at the photo, working conditions for your faithful reporters have become a bit trying. Expect a run on hooded sweatshirts before the night is out.
