Shortly thereafter, Buonano pushed with ace-jack and was called by Manuel Bevant who had pocket tens. Bevant's tens held up, and Buonano is out. Bevant now has 300,000.
The UTG player opened for 17,000, Alana Morin called, Paul Lieu called, Thayer Rasmussen moved all in for 122,000, Sylvain Coeur called all in for 103,000 from the button, and the UTG player, Morin, and Lieu all folded.

A few hands later, Rasmussen moved all in and was called by both blinds, who checked down the board. Rasmussen rolled over and both his opponents mucked.

After losing much of his stack during play today Phil Hellmuth just doubled up through Allen Kennedy. Kennedy raised to 20,000 before the flop and Hellmuth called from the button. They saw a flop and when Kennedy bet 25,000 Phil moved in for his last 112,000. Kennedy called and his was well behind Hellmuth's . Kennedy needed to find an ace but the fell on the turn and the on the river and Hellmuth doubled up to 241,000.
Tracy Scala has just been eliminated in cruel fashion, after check-calling on all streets against Alex Outhred on a board of . Scala held pocket kings, but Outhred had spiked a set with his pocket queens to eliminate Scala from the tournament.
