Myung Eliminates Cantu, and Then Another

John Myung has been on a roll. On this hand, an under-the-gun player, Brandon Cantu, and Myung saw a flop of Q-9-3. Myung checked from the big blind position and the under-the-gun player bet 1,500, to which Cantu and Myung both called.

According to Myung, this was the action:

The turn was a king, Myung checked, and the under-the-gun player checked. Cantu bet 2,200 and Myung called. The other player folded. The river card was a blank and Cantu fired all in for 14,000 after Myung checked. Myung thought and called with K-Q for top two pair. Cantu showed Q-9 and then mucked his hand as he was sent to the rail.

On the very next hand, Myung called an all in from the small blind for 6,000 with {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}. His opponent held {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. The flop came {Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and flopped two pair for John. The turn came the {7-Clubs} and the river the {9-Hearts}.

Myung eliminated another player on this hand and moved his chip count to over 65,000.
