Gavin Smith on a Rush

Gavin Smith took down two nice pots almost back-to-back. On the first hand, he was in the small blind and capped the betting with the big blind preflop. Each street was bet to the river and in the end, Smith showed pocket queens to take the pot.

A couple of hands later, three players, including Smith, saw a flop. Smith raised the turn with the board showing {2-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {K-Clubs} and was called by both opponents. The river fell the {A-Spades} and again Smith bet out and was called in both spots. Smith showed {10-Clubs} {J-Clubs} for the nut straight.

Next, Smith had another player all in. Smith held {A-?} {K-?} and his opponent held {A-?} {10-?}. Smith hit a king on the flop and in the end took down the pot.

After these three pots, Smith is up to around 9,300 in chips.

Four players remain at Smith's table.
