We just did a quick scan of the field and determined that, of the 144 players who remain, Clonie Gowen is the sole surviving female. We're reminded of a story from the $1,500 PLO tournament a few weeks ago. A female Asian player was broken to a new table. A male Asian player noticed that she was wearing a Syracuse sweatshirt and started interrogating her.

Man: Did you go to Syracuse?
Woman: Yes.
Man: Are you Korean?
Woman: Yes.
Man: Are you over 30?
Woman: Yes.
Man: PLO is a tough game for a girl.
