Deeb Eliminated

Pot-limit Omaha is a game of huge swings, a game made for action junkies. It's no surprise then, even with 100 big blinds in their starting stack and a rebuy chip worth another 100 big blinds, that some players have already been eliminated. Add Freddy Deeb's name to that list.

Deeb called a bet of 600 on a flop of {Q-Spades} {5-Spades} {8-Clubs}, 1,800 on the {4-Clubs} turn and 2,100 on the {3-Spades} river, all from the same opponent. Calling the last bet put Deeb, who had already redeemed his rebuy chip, all in. Deeb showed {10-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {9-Clubs} {8-Spades} for a small flush. His opponent, however, held the nut flush with double-suited aces, {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} {7-Spades} {5-Clubs}. That hand dragged the pot and eliminated Deeb.
