Jamie Pickering Eliminated in 27th Place ($28,651)

Jamie Pickering - 27th Place
Jamie Pickering - 27th Place
We join the action on the turn where a big pot is brewing on Table 19. Jamie Pickering is all in at this point, and the board shows {10-Spades} {3-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}.

When fourth street hits, Mizrachi bets out 100,000. Brandon Moran, the only other opponent in the pot, raises to a total of 373,000, sending Mizrachi into the tank. After at least five minutes, The Grinder folds showing {5-?} {5-?}. The cards of Moran and the at-risk Pickering are turned up:

Pickering: {Q-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {6-Clubs}
Moran: {8-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {J-Clubs}

Moran is well ahead, and the {4-Clubs} on the river brings him the winning flush, and knocks Jamie Pickering out in 27th place. For his work over the last three days, Pickering will pocket $28,651.

David Williams Eliminated in 26th Place ($28,651)

David Williams - 26th Place
David Williams - 26th Place
Action folded to David Williams, sunglasses on and hat pulled low, on the button. He peeked at his cards, then raised pot to 28,000. The small blind folded, but Julian Powell made the call in the big blind.

The flop was {6-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {3-Hearts}. Powell checked to Williams, who bet pot, a total of 60,000. Powell quickly check-raised all in. Williams mulled it over, then pushed his chips in as well.

Williams: {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {5-Clubs}
Powell: {K-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {6-Clubs}

"Come on, hold!" said Powell, referring to his two pair, kings and sixes. The turn {Q-Spades} helped neither player. The river {7-Diamonds} made Powell a better two pair, but did not improve Williams.

The stacks were counted down to make sure Powell had Williams covered. He did, so Williams got up from the table to start the process of collecting his $28,651.

Sigi Stockinger Crippled, then Eliminated in 25th Place ($28,651)

Sigi Stockinger - 25th Place
Sigi Stockinger - 25th Place
It took two hands to knock Sigi Stockinger out of today's tournament. In the first hand, he was all in preflop against Rino Mathis. Mathis held {J-Spades} {J-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} against Stockinger's {Q-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {7-Spades}. A board of {K-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} put the hurt on Stockinger, leaving him with just 9,000 chips.

Those chips went in the pot on the next hand with {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {9-Spades} {2-Hearts}. He was up against Len Ashby's {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {9-Clubs}, which had flopped the nut flush. The board bricked out, sending Stockinger to the rail $28,651 richer.

Paging ESPN

One hour and 15 minutes later, the ESPN cameras are still a no-show. Being situated in the press box is preferable for us, so we're not really complaining -- just noting the absurdity of the situation.

A New Chip Leader Emerges

After nearly two days atop the leaderboard, Josh Arieh has finally been caught and overtaken. After the big pot with Jamie Pickering, Brandon Moran now sits with 750,000. Arieh is not even in second anymore. Michael Mizrachi has recovered from his drop all the way to 25,000 earlier in the day, and is now holding 600,000 warm chips.

Brant Hale Eliminated in 23rd Place ($28,651)

We pick up the action on the flop in a heads-up tussle between Kido Pham and Brant Hale. There is about 80,000 in the pot already, and the board reads {A-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}. Pham checks and Hale comes out with a bet of 65,000. Pham puts in a check-raise, sliding in 265,000 chips. Hale has 194,000 left, and he moves them in, putting himself at risk.

Pham: {7-Clubs} {7-Spades} {6-Hearts} {5-Spades}
Hale: {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}

The turn and river come {J-Spades} and {3-Diamonds}, failing to get Hale over the hump and sending him out 23rd place, worth almost $30,000.

Rob Hollink Eliminated in 22nd Place ($28,651)

Rob Hollink - 22nd Place
Rob Hollink - 22nd Place
Rob Hollink was short of time and short of chips. Now he's out of both. He got his last 40,000 in preflop with {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {6-Clubs} and was called by Josh Arieh and his naked aces -- {A-Hearts} {A-Spades} {10-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}. The board ran out {9-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {2-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {7-Clubs}. Arieh's hand held up, knocking Hollink out to collect his $28,651.
