Upon seeing the hands, The Croc says to the dealer, "If you're gonna flop a flush, make it the eight, ten and jack of spades." No such luck for The Croc - the flop of makes a set of fives for Mizrachi. The Croc catches a pair and a gutshot draw. Mizrachi's cheering section is chanting "Pair the board! Pair the board!"
And he's going to need it when the turn comes , filling The Croc's gutshot straight draw! Mizrachi needs a heart or a board pair. He doesn't get it when the river falls . It's a "Croc" pot. He doubles up and "lives to swim another day," according to MC Robbie Thompson.
The flop comes , and both men quickly check.
Turn: . Again, check check quickly.
River: Mizrachi grabs two big stacks of chips, and pushes 280,000 of them into the middle. Billy The Croc tanks for a few minutes, mumbling to himself. The one word that comes through clearly is, "Sick!" Billy rests his head on his hands, then leans back in his chair, looking up toward the neon arena ceiling. After a minute, he asks, "One deuce any good?" with a chuckle. Mizrachi doesn't budge. One more time we hear, "Sick!" come from The Croc's side of the table. Finally, he does put in the call, apparently prepared for the bad news he is about to receive. Mizrachi tables , and his eight-high straight is the winner, much to The Croc's chagrin.
Smyth checks the flop of . The turn bring a check from Smyth, a bet of 100,000 from Jetten, and another flash going off as a spectator takes a photo. Smyth calls the bet and checks again when the pops on the river. Jetten bets 200,000 and Smyth finally decides he's had enough. He folds.
It comes . The Croc checks, and Smyth takes a minute before he checks as well.
Fourth street is the . Argyros checks again, and Smyth takes that as an invitation to make a bet of 300,000. The Croc folds, and Smyth takes another pot.
The flop reveals . Jetten bets out 75,000, and Mizrachi quickly calls.
Fourth street is the , and both men check.
River: . Jetten loads his gun and fires a bullet, sliding 225,000 chips into the middle. The Grinder makes a quick call. Jetten turns over . His straight to the queen is the nuts, and he drags in the pot.
We pick up the action on the flop, with three players in. It shows . Billy Argyros, Marty Smyth, and Michael Mizrachi all check.
Turn: . Argyros bets out 105,000. Smyth calls, and Mizrachi folds.
The river card is the , and both players check. The Croc shows . Smyth held in his hand though, and he takes down the pot with aces up.
Flop:
Smyth immediately checks to Jetten, who also checks. The turn card is the , which brings another check from both player. The on the river doesn't change anything -- action goes check, check. Jetten comes up with a pair of kings to take down the pot.
