Hand #143: J.C. Tran

Rasmus Nielsen limped, and J.C. Tran checked.

Both checked the {J-Spades}{K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} flop. The turn was the {A-Diamonds}. Tran bet 75,000, and Nielsen called. The river was the {3-Hearts}. Tran bet 225,000, and Nielsen called.

Nielsen showed {J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for three jacks. Tran turned over {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for an ace-high straight to win the pot.

Hand #141: Rasmus Nielsen

Rasmus Nielsen, still enjoying a 3-to-1 chip advantage over J.C. Tran, raised to 180,000 from the small blind/button. Tran called.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Tran checked, Nielsen bet 225,000, and Tran folded.

Quiet as a Rasmus

Though many of the hands have appeared to go rather well for Rasmus Nielsen, he has kept a mild manner about himself throughout the event. Even when he caught running kings for the full house against Peter Nguyen, Rasmus stood and shook his opponent's hand instead of cheering or celebrating.

It's been a very nice change of pace to see a winner behave so appropriately at a poker table, especially one running as hot as Rasmus has been.

Hand #138: J.C. Tran

J.C. Tran raised to 155,000 from the button, and Rasmus Nielsen made the call. The flop came {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Nielsen checked right away, and Tran checked as well. The turn was the {J-Spades}, pairing the board. Nielsen checked, Tran bet 150,000, and Nielsen folded.
