Hand #69 - Max Greenwood Doubles Up

Albert Iversen has the button in Seat 6 and makes it 80,000 to go. Max Greenwood then looks down at his cards and pushes his entire stack into the middle. Rene Mouritsen surprises the room with a call from the big blind and when the action returns to Iversen, he folds, leaving Mouritsen and Greenwood heads up at the mercy of the community cards:

Mouritsen: {A-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}
Greenwood: {5-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}

Mouritsen took the early lead when the flop came down {3-Spades} {8-Clubs} {A-Clubs} and his cheering section absolutely erupted. An inconsequential {K-Spades} fell on the turn leaving Greenwood drawing to one of the two remaining fives in the deck.

Amazingly, the {5-Spades} popped off on the river giving Greenwood the winning set and the crowd bellowed even louder as the young Canadian raked in the pot.

After the hand, Greenwood stacked up 902,000 in chips while Mouritsen dropped to 3,040,000.
