Mike "Little Man" Sica Eliminated

A player in middle position min-raised and Mike Sica made the call. On a flop of {7-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}, Sica went all in for 975 and was called. Sica held {4-Spades} {3-Hearts} and his opponent held {K-Spades} {10-Spades} . The turn of the {2-Diamonds} helped neither player, but the {10-Hearts} on the river eliminated Sica from today's event.

Billy Baxter's Chair Crippled

Billy Baxter's chair is on the short stack right now. With only 550 chips, the chair will have to make a move soon or be blinded out. The chair has expressed frustration at how the dealer continues to muck its cards before it can look at them.

As for the chair's former occupant, Billy Baxter, Baxter is currently third in chips in the 2-7 lowball event. Chances are the chair will have to finish the day without Baxter.

Ohhh Noooo Humberto!

Humberto No More
Humberto No More
With four limpers in the pot Humberto Brenes pushed all in for about 2,400 from the button. The player in the small blind made the call, as did the player in the big blind. The other players folded and the cards were tabled:

Brenes: {4-?}{4-?}
SB: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}
BB: {K-?}{K-?}

The board landed {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} to give the pot to the player in the small blind and send Brenes and his sharks to an early exit.

Slim Lays Down Set

On a board of 7-2-6-9-10 Amarillo Slim was facing an all-in bet from his opponent. Slim folded and flashed pocket nines for a set, but it was the right fold as his opponent showed 10-8 for the straight.

Slim is back down to 4,500 in chips.

First Sleeper Of The Day

It's 3:30 pm and we've just spotted the first player to fall asleep at the table. The dealer continued to deal to the unknown player and his cards were mucked until the action was on him in the big blind when the other players decided it might be a good idea to give him a friendly nudge.
