The Right Queen

Robert Williamson III

Another interesting hand from the previous no-limit round:

Marcel Luske raised to 5,000 from late position, and Robert Williamson III called from the small blind. On a flop of {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, Williamson checked, Luske bet 1,000, and Williamson called. The {5-Clubs} came on the turn, and both players checked.

A fourth club -- the {9-Clubs} -- came on the river. Williamson bet 2,000, and Luske folded, showing Q-Q.

"Me, too, but I have the right one," said Williamson, who then turned over the other two queens, including the {Q-Clubs}.

Williamson is now up to 24,000. "My high point of the Series," he told a reporter.
