We're Heads Up!

We're now heads up for the WSOP bracelet! Here are the updated chip counts as we commence heads up play:

David Benyamine: 3,665,000
Greg Jamison: 1,035,000

Jason Gray Eliminated in 3rd Place ($209,855)

Jason Gray - 3rd Place
Jason Gray - 3rd Place
Jason Gray raised from the button and David Benyamine made the call from the small blind.

The flop came {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Benyamine tossed out 30,000 chips which was enough to put the pot-committed Gray all in. He made the call and the cards were tabled.

Gray: {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Benyamine: {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Benyamine has spiked the lead with a pair of jacks as Gray would need some help.

The turn was the {2-Spades} putting a low draw out there for Gray but the repeat {J-Clubs} on the river spent the end for Gray in 3rd place for a tidy collect of $209,855.

Greg Jamison Nearly Doubles Up

Jason Gray made it two bets to go preflop and was called by David Benyamine and Greg Jamison. On the flop of {9-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {6-Hearts} , the betting was checked around. On the turn of the {7-Spades}, Benyamine bet, Jamison raised, and Gray folded. Benyamine made the call. On the river of the {K-Diamonds}, Benyamine bet and was called by Jamison.

Jamison showed {2-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} for a straight. Benyamine did not have a low and Jamison is up to around 1.1 million.

Gray In Trouble

Jason Gray opened with a raise from the button and David Benyamine called from the small blind.

The flop came {7-Spades}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Benyamine led with a bet which was called by Gray.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and again Benyamine bet and Gray called.

The river was the {Q-Diamonds} and for the third time Benyamine bet out with Gray making the call.

Benyamine turned over {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{A-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for the full house as, not for the first time today, Gray slams his cards into the muck in disgust.

Gray is left with about 295,000 chips as the Benyamine bulldozer continues on its merry way!

Toto Leonidas Eliminated in 4th Place ($171,197)

Toto Leonidas
Toto Leonidas
Toto Leonidas was all in in the big blind. He was called by Jason Benyamine and David Gray. The betting was checked down to the river. On the river, with a board of {Q-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} , Gray bet out and was called by Benyamine. Benyamine showed {K-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {5-Spades} {7-Diamonds} for the flush to eliminate Leonidas. To Leonidas' credit, his blind all in hand was {A-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {J-Spades}.

Leonidas received $171,197 for his 4th place finish

Gray Doubles Through Leonidas

Jason Gray limped from the small blind and Toto Leonidas checked in the big blind.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Gray led out with a bet. Leonidas made the call.

The turn brought the {6-Spades} and Gray bet out once again, this time Leonidas announced a raise. Gray went into the tank and eventually decided to put the last of his chips in the middle. Leonidas made the call.

Gray showed {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Clubs} to trail the {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} of Leonidas for top pair and best low.

Amazingly the river was a perfect {3-Clubs} for Gray to give him the wheel to scoop the pot! He jumps to close to 1 million chips leaving Leonidas crippled.

Greg Jamison Hanging Tough

Greg Jamison has been hanging tough on the short stack. Twice in the last 5 hands he was all in against David Benyamine and has chopped both times. Another pot he was involved with Toto Leonidas but was able to take it down with a flop bet. The next hand Jason Gray three bet preflop and Jamison called. On a flop of {Q-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {6-Clubs}, Gray bet, Jamison raised, and Gray was forced to fold.

After these hands, Jamison has moved out of the cellar to 650,000 in chips. Jason Gray is the short stack with 450,000.

Benyamine's Huge Rush

It's tough to stop a guy who is a seasoned professional, relentlessly aggressive and catches cards. David Benyamine has just gone on a hellacious rush to surge to a massive chip lead.

In the first hand he caught Greg Jamison bluffing on a board of {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. Jamison mucked his cards as Benyamine showed {8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

Next hand the action was checked to the river in a battle of the blinds with Toto Leonidas. Benyamine caught a set of deuces on the river and Leonidas called the value bet.

Finally Jason Gray tried to make a stand against Benyamine's aggression. Benyamine raised from the button and Gray called from the big blind.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Gray led out with a bet and Benyamine called. The turn was the {A-Diamonds} and again Gray bet and Benyamine called. The river was the {4-Spades} and Gray checked, Benyamine bet and Gray called.

Benyamine said "No low" as he showed {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{A-?}{7-?} for quads! Gray threw his cards into the muck in disgust as Benyamine storms to a massive chip lead. He now has more than half of the chips in play with about 2.8 million!
